Every week, we throw down a challenge: build something quick, fun, and creative based on a theme. What starts as a simple prompt becomes a showcase of creativity, speed, and pure creative joy. This October, our community delivered four incredible weeks of innovation.
Winners take home cash prizes and extra Dreamflow credits, but everyone walks away with new skills, inspiration, and the satisfaction of shipping something over a weekend.
October Themes
This month, we explored four distinct themes that pushed builders in different directions:
Dreamflow Todos Challenge
We asked builders to reinvent productivity apps with a playful, hyper-specific spin on to-do lists or habit tracking.
@kinari_kuramoto shipped Focal, a focus companion that guides you through one clear action at a time. It layers Japanese localization, AI-powered task processing, and structured focus sessions to help you start—even when you already know what needs doing.
Dreamflow Improvement Challenge
We pushed the community to pick their favorite app and rebuild a feature in Dreamflow—only better than the original.
@Jarradtweets reimagined the @UberEats checkout with richer visuals and a smart “schedule reorder” option that automatically delivers your go-to meal every week.
Dreamflow Retro Challenge
We revived early-internet nostalgia—guestbooks, forums, pixel art, the works—and challenged builders to give it a modern Dreamflow twist.
@ak_deepankar delivered a retro game console powered by @DreamflowApp, complete with Meteor Dodge and Snake, pixel-perfect chrome, and tactile hardware-style controls.
Dreamflow Halloween Challenge
We wrapped the month with a Halloween sprint, encouraging spooky, playful, or candy-fueled experiences built in Dreamflow.
First-time builder @Rart3001 went all-in with Candy Catch Chaos, a whimsical Halloween arcade game that captures floating treats while dodging spooky surprises.
Special shoutout to our teammate @michaelmcroskey who brought a 3D pumpkin viewer to life—because even the Dreamflow crew can't resist building alongside the community.
